A full rundown of the 2024 Mazda CX-90 MHEV GT AWD!
The new frontline of the Mazda lineup, the 2024 CX-90 is quite the pinnacle of engineering. With two different engine platforms available on the CX-90, the MHEV “Mild Hybrid” is equipped with a turbocharged 3.3 Liter Inline 6 engine pushing out 280 horsepower and 332 LB-FT of torque in a new 8-speed automatic transmission – the one we are driving in our review. Available on the Inline 6 engine is an “enhanced engine” starting at the GT-P trim which grants the vehicle 340 horsepower and 369 LB-FT of torque, an immense jump in performance.
The CX-90 is much more than the new Inline 6 engine. It’s the biggest vehicle Mazda has produced to date, with a seating capacity up to eight seats or as low as six. Having the ability to configure your interior to your families preferences, the CX-90 has loads of options with second-row captain’s chairs with or without the center console, to a bench seat! Speaking of configuration, get some gorgeous Pure White nappa leather seats as an option on the GT-P trim, or the Premium Windsor Tan nappa leather seats as an option in the Signature trim.
The GT trim comes with lots of new tech features, as well as safety features to keep you and your family safe. The CX-90 GT trim is worth bragging about with a 360° View Monitor, Driver Monitoring, Front Cross Traffic Alert, and a Windshield-projected heads-up-display. Did we mention the Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, Wireless Phone Charger as well as a Bose Premium Sound System?
